It all began with a pair of roller skates. When I was just 7 years old, my journey into the world of skating began. Fast forward 45 years, and I'm still just as passionate about it. My name is Mo Sanders, and I am the proud owner and operator of Good Foot Skates.
In 2018, I moved from Seattle to Dallas and quickly realized that there was a lack of places to find the skates I truly wanted. Despite the numerous rinks in the DFW area, I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. It was during the height of the pandemic in November 2020 when inspiration struck me. Drawing upon my extensive experience of over 30 years, working for renowned brands in the industry as a pro sponsored athlete, creative director, and expert in branding, marketing, and product design, I decided to create something special.
With my deep passion, knowledge, and multiple national and world championships in roller derby, speed skating, and rhythm/jam skating, I poured everything into establishing the first and only fully dedicated roller skate shop in Dallas, located near the Bishop Arts area of Oak Cliff.
